OUR RECENT ACTIVITIES
Results of work of the Kharkiv Aid Office in the period from February 24 to April 20, 2022 (data are updated weekly):
• 20,910 Ukrainian defenders were provided with food, water, warm clothing, ammunition, household items and personal hygiene items (directly at duty stations, checkpoints and other locations);
• 24,780 children (including newborns) were provided with baby food, diapers, food, toys and other necessities;
• 19,300 people (mostly elderly, as well as women, children and people with disabilities) were evacuated from dangerous areas of Kharkiv and the region to the railway station;
• 17,230 people of all ages and genders were evacuated to other cities (Dnipro, Novomoskovsk, Merefa and others);
• 36,700 people (mostly with disabilities and the elderly) who live in dangerous areas of Kharkiv and the region and remain "cut off" from everything they need, are provided with food, medicine, clothing and household items;
• a network of drivers is organized, who under any circumstances deliver people everything they need and take them out of dangerous places;
• supply of humanitarian aid from other countries (Denmark, Poland, Italy) and cities of Ukraine (Lviv, Chernivtsi, Dnipro) was organized.
